Getting to San Pedro
Once you arrive at the international airport you have a few options to get to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye:
1. Travel by plane
Fly with Tropic Air from Belize International Airport (BZE) to San Pedro (SPR):
Flights leave every hour with the last flight departing at 5:40pm.
Flight time is 20 minutes. Cost is US$157.50 per person round trip.
Fly with Tropic Air from Belize Municipal Airport (TZA) to San Pedro (SPR):
To get to the Municipal Airport, you will need to take a road taxi from the international airport. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around US$30 for the vehicle.
Flights leave every hour with the last flight departing at 5:30
Flight time is 20 minutes. Cost is US$103.00 per adult round trip. Children 2-11 US$73.90 per child round trip.

2. Travel by boat - public water taxis
In order to travel to San Pedro on one of the regular water taxis you will need to take a road taxi from the international airport to the water taxi terminal in Belize City. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around US$30 for the vehicle.
The boat ride is 90 minutes and costs around US$30 per person for a round trip.
Water taxi reservations can be made through: San Pedro Belize Express or Ocean Ferry - tickets can be bought online but seats are not reserved - boarding is first come first served. Nautilus Water Taxi: seats can be reserved.
Once you arrive in San Pedro – whether at the airport or water taxi terminal – take any road taxi waiting there, to Xanadu, and when the taxi driver drops you off at Xanadu – WE pay him.
