We are looking forward to meeting you at Xanadu Island Resort. We are working hard to maintain the laid-back, friendly island atmosphere that our guests so much enjoy while also ensuring that we do everything we can to protect the health and safety of our guests, employees, and the people of Belize. We are pleased to report that Xanadu has been certified as a Gold Standard Resort by the Belize Tourism Board and has implemented enhanced cleaning and safety protocols to provide our guests with a safe and enjoyable stay.
The following infographic gives information about travel to Belize to help you prepare for your trip. For more detailed information, please visit the Belize Tourism Board Website.
International Travelers are free to explore the island on a golf cart or foot. Snorkeling, sailing, diving, fishing, and mainland tours are all available with a Gold Standard Tour Operator. You can also visit a variety of restaurants, The Bakery, supermarket, The Chocolate Shop, order in meals or groceries, or use our beach barbeque for cooking your catch of the day.
Don't forget to throw insufficient face masks for each member of your family so that you have those handy when you land in Belize. Face masks are required at the airport, in the taxi, while moving around the island, and in the resort's common areas (not when swimming, nor for children under 6).
When you arrive at Xanadu, your luggage will be sanitized, and our Front Desk Staff will take your temperature with a (no contact) digital thermometer – an ice-cold beer or rum punch to follow! Our staff has been trained to pay careful attention to social distancing, hand hygiene, use of face masks, and disinfection of surface areas regularly.
All our suites are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized using eco-friendly products and manufactured to destroy bacteria and viruses without causing allergies or having harmful effects on humans or animals.
Covid-19 has been a time of change, but we are happy to report that the most important things haven't changed! The ocean is blue, the palm trees are swaying in the breeze, the Belkin beer is ice cold, and the people of San Pedro are as warm and friendly as ever.
We look forward to meeting you soon!
